    Play Therapy and Expressive Therapies

You want your child/teen to talk to you and you find yourself repeating “what’s wrong?” and they just stare at you or say “i don’t know”. Children & teens need someone who speaks their language and gets them. Play therapy and expressive arts therapies can help your child/teen communicate and express themselves.

Experiences such as divorce of parents, unhealthy/toxic relationships, growing up in a family with dysfunctional patterns, bullying/teasing, grief/loss, sexual abuse, emotional abuse, physical abuse and the list goes on and on which cause emotional distress. EMDR therapy can often achieve results much more quickly than traditional talk therapy and is a highly proven and effective treatment for PTSD.
