Clinical Supervision

What we learn with Pleasure, We never forget - Alfred Mercier

CONGRATULATIONS!

Supervision is the best investment you will make in your Yourself!

Masters Level Supervision (LMSW)

Alfred Einstein once said "Education is not the learning of facts but the training of the mind to think".  Had he been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker he would have replaced Education with Supervision.

Whew!  You Did It!  CONGRATULATIONS on Graduating with your Masters!

I bet you're feeling a little overwhelmed and lost.  You're thinking "they didn't prepare me for this..." This is where I come in.  As your Supervisor, I will guide, teach and model.  You will learn the skills needed to help the people you want to help the most.  I know how difficult it is to find the right fit and how financially challenging it is to acquire what you need.  This is why I keep my supervision rates low.  I believe in helping the next generation to be successful, to blossom and to grow.

My former and current Supervisee's would probably describe me as energetic and passionate about the work we do as Social Workers. They would tell you I know my stuff and that I will push you to meet your fullest potential.  They would say expectations are high.  They would also say I love to talk as much as listen, to teach and I believe in being outside the box.  They will tell you I'm flexible,  understanding and authentic.  They would tell you I truly respected them as clinicians and future colleagues.  They would say I believe in giving you the best quality.   They would say I strongly believe in our ETHICS and VALUES.

(Things you may like to know about my experience)

I specialize in working with children and teens, trauma and addictions and have been in the field for over 16 years.  I have been trained in DBT, CBT, TF-CBT, MI, play therapy and other expressive and creative approaches and use these daily in my practice.  I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor (RPT-S).  Even now, the hours you acrue with me can count towards a play therapy credential should you choose.   My experience includes working in the foster care system, high and moderate risk juvenile facilities for females and males, working with LGBTQIQAAP population, adolescent day treatment for substance abuse, adolescent residential treatment for substance abuse, in home child, teen and family therapy,  community based therapy, methadone clinic and parenting education.  Not only have I worked in a variety of setting; I am now working in private practice and have built a successful business.  If this is an area you're interested in, you will obtain guidance and mentoring throughout your supervision process.  I am highly knowledgeable about resources for our most vulnerable populations.

If you are a LMSW who is looking for an exciting and challenging supervisor who will help you reach your clinical goals, you’ve come to the right place. Complete the form on to the left; I will happily schedule a free consultation with you.
